Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Investigators allege a vehicle operated by 32-year-old William James Ballestero was speeding before it ran a red light and collided with the side of a vehicle occupied by a 21-year-old woman. The woman, identified as Cameron Jacobson, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Ballestero is alleged to have showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
