What Happened

Lubbock Police are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 1585 in Lubbock County, TX on May 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 am. Investigators believe a passenger vehicle making a turn off FM 1585 pulled into the path of a cementer mixed at US 62. The vehicles collided before the car also struck a box truck, leaving the driver of the passenger car, identified as 54-year-old Cameron Scott Griffith, with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. Police say the other drivers were not injured and had no additional information to share.
