Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at NE Loop 820 in North Richland Hills, TX on August 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:54 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Forte operated by 37-year-old North Richland Hills man was westbound before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of a Toyota Corolla operated by 46-year-old Roland Whitford. Officials say Whitford had possible injuries while a 48-year-old passenger, identified as Candace Whitford, allegedly suffered serious injuries. The North Richland Hills man was not injured, according to authorities. Sources indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued against the North Richland Hills man.
