Authorities have information on a multi-vehicle crash that injured at least two people at I-35 in Kyle, TX on June 30th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 5:35 p.m. According to investigators, a southbound vehicle allegedly failed to stop for a red light before colliding with the side of another vehicle. This is said to have caused a chain reaction crash involving three other vehicles. Authorities say a 40-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles, identified as Carmelina Valerin-Gutierrez, was seriously injured. A 19-year-old passenger in the same vehicle was also seriously injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
