Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Morton Ranch Rd in Harris County, TX on May 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry traveling eastbound on Morton Ranch Rd, making a u-turn as a westbound Toyota Camry approached. Authorities say the two vehicles collided, leaving the driver of the second Toyota, identified as 41-year-old Carmen Castro, seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and also seriously injured. Sources indicate a Failure to Yield Row at Open Intersection charge was recommended and or issued against the driver of the Toyota.
