What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a person at US 83 in Alamo, TX on September 17th, 2021. They say it happened around 7:48 p.m. A Chevrolet Corvette operated by 39-year-old Richard Rene Charles reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Buick operated by 51-year-old Daniel Cervantes. Neither driver was injured, however, 45-year-old Buick passenger, Cenona Maria Cervaantes, was evaluated for possible injuries. Charles was charged with Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle and Open Container Alcohol.
