Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-10 in Houston, TX on April 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened 3:27 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by 36-year-old Jonathan Montenegro was headed westbound in eastbound lanes when it collided head-on with a Nissan Xterra operated by 28-year-old Chase Deric. Deric suffered serious injuries while Montenegro suffered minor injuries. Reports indicated A DWI charge was recommended and/or issued against Montenegro.
