What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at Collins St in Arlington, TX on January 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Beetle operated by 25-year-old Isaiah Williams was making a u-turn to go southbound on Collins. At the same time, a GMC Yukon was headed southbound while a Ford Fusion was was behind it. Police say the Beetle failed to yield and turned into the path of the GMC, the two colliding. The Ford also collided with the Beetle as a result. A passenger in the Beetle, 27-year-old Chelsea Harkcom, suffered serious injuries. Williams had less serious injuries. A DWI charge was recommended and/or issued. Additional information was not immediately available.
