What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a child at Callaghan Rd in Whitewing Ln in San Antonio, TX on November 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 42-year-old Joshua Stearns was headed northeast on Callaghan Rd when it turned into the path of a southwest bound Mitsubishi Lancer operated by 31-year-old Gilbert Galvan Jr. The vehicles collided, leaving a 12-year-old child in the vehicle with serious injuries. The drivers were uninjured and officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against Stearns.
