Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a child at North Freeway and Deer Trail Dr in Houston, TX on March 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota van operating as an Uber service vehicle was previously involved in a collision with a Ford F-350. Reports allege the van began chasing the truck after the truck allegedly attempted to flee the scene. At some point, reports say the van attempted to perform a u-turn and colliding with a light control box. Officials say a 3-year-old child and the driver of the Uber were seriously injured. The driver of the pickup truck allegedly displayed signs of intoxication, reports say.
