Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a child at Arapaho Rd and Madera Dr in Dallas, TX on July 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:11 p.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 was eastbound on Arapaho Rd, allegedly at a high rate of speed, before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado. The crash left a 13-year-old child in the Silverado with injuries she later died from. The other occupants of the Silverado, including 33-year-old driver, Lidia Funes and 33-year-old Nora Figueroa, with possible, unconfirmed injuries. The other driver, a 28-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was uninjured, police say. Additional information was not available.
