What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a child at Southwest Freeway in Houston, TX on March 2nd, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Soul headed northbound is alleged to have collided with the rear of a Nissan Rogue. Authorities say a 9-year-old child in the Nissan was hospitalized with injuries she later died from. Three individuals in the Kia were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
