Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Mary Ware Dr in McLennan County, TX on September 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Can-Am Defender XT was northbound on Mary Ware Dr is alleged to have lost control while navigating a curve. The vehicle is said to have ended into a ditch and, while attempting to return to the road, went into a skid. From there, reports say an axle broke on the vehicle, causing it to overturn and eject the driver. The driver, identified as 49-year-old Christopher Diaz, was fatally injured. Officials did not have any additional information available.
