What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at FM 753 in Henderson County, TX on June 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:24 a.m. According to investigators, a van headed westbound on FM 753 as a dump semi-truck was headed southbound on FM 59. Police say the van failed yo yield at the stop sign it approached and collided with the truck. The driver of the van, identified as 61-year-old Christopher Spencer, died at the scene. His passenger, 67-year-old Robin Sphaler, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
