Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Gulf Blvd in Freeport, TX on October 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:43 a.m. According to investigators, a Buick Enclave is alleged to have began pulling to the side of the road as its driver allegedly noticed a second vehicle approaching from the rear at a high rate of speed. While in the process, police say the Buick was struck in the rear, pushing the Buick into a ditch and causing it to overturn. The driver, identifier as 27-year-old Christopher Taylor, suffered serious injuries, police say. Additional information was not available.
