What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at FM 730 in Parker County, TX on December 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happend around 3:50 p.m. According to investigators, a southbound Ford F-150 is allied to have been in a no pass zone before colliding head-on with a northbound Buick Envoy.  A passenger in the Buick, identified as 71-year-old Cora Estep, was fatally injured. The driver, 69-year-old Wanda Kind and a second passenger, 45-year-old Christina Jones, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Officials say the driver of the Ford, identified as 21-year-old Daniel Rascon, was allegedly arrested on Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault charges. Additional  information was not available.
