Police say the incident happened around 12:16 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Passat operated by 34-year-old Coty Wayne Stewart was headed southeast on US 287 before veering from a curve in the road. The vehicle is believed to have traveled crossed northwest lanes before colliding with a parked vehicle, pushing it into another parked vehicle. The collision is believed to have left Stewart with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
