Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 287 near Claude, TX on March 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:40 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck reportedly failed to yield right of way to a car on the outside lane of the US 287 before both collided. The car overturned and ejected the driver, identified as 41-year-old Coy Crowder. Crowder suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver was not injured.
