What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35E in Hill County, TX on August 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:53 a.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 58-year-old Cristobal Reyes was headed southbound on 35 when it veered from its lane into the path of a commercial truck. The truck then collided with the First causing the Ford to veered from the road into a concrete barrier wall. Reyes suffered serious injuries in the collision and charged with Failure to Drive in Single Lane. The other driver was evaluated for possible injuries.
