What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 54 in Dallam County, TX on October 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:40 p.m. According to investigators, a a truck tractor headed northeast is said to have been attempting to pass another vehicle prior to colliding head-on with a southwest bound Chevrolet. The collision caused fatal injuries to 19-year-old Brendan Torres and 51-year-old Curtis Brown at the scene. The other driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
