Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured  a driver at I-610 in Houston, TX on January 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:25 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 43-year-old Eastman, GA is said to have been headed westbound when it allegedly failed to control it speed and collided with a Honda CR-V operated by 64-year-old Dandree Blackmon Thurman suffered minor injuries. The other driver was not injured and issued a Failure to Control Speed charge. Additional information was not immediately available.
