Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 2223 in Burleson County, TX on October 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 22-year-old Daniel Herrera Lopez was headed northwest while taking a curve in the roadway. The truck lost control and crossed into southbound lanes, veering into a ditch and going into a side skid. The truck hit a culvert and metal fence before coming to rest. Lopez sustained what are believed to be serious injuries in the crash.
