What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Allen Parkway in Houston, TX on October 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck is said to have jumped a curb before colliding with a motorcyclist while traveling the wrong direction. The motorcyclist, identified as 26-year-old Daniel Navia,  suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The pickup truck driver fled the scene prior to officers arriving at the scene. Identified as 29-year-old Matthew Drew Granados, the driver was later located and charged with failure to stop and render aid. Additional details were not available.
