What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1518 in Guadalupe County, TX on March 23rd, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, a Mitsubishi Lancer was northbound at FM 1518 as a Chevrolet Silverado headed southbound. Reports allege the Mitsubishi entered unto a southbound lane before colliding head-on with the Chevrolet. The collision left the driver of the Mitsubishi, identified as 29-year-old Daniel Serna Jr, fatally injured. The other driver, identified as 32-year-old Joseph Mejia, had non-life-threatening injuries, reports say.
