What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-35 and Midway Dr in Temple, TX on June 10th, 2022. Police say a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction collided head-on with another vehicle. A mother and three children were in the vehicle that was struck and all were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, identified as 71-year-old Darrel Scott, died at the scene.
