What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at US 281 and Blanco Ave in Blanco, TX on July 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:41 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 68-year-old Leigh Acres, FL man reportedly veered from its lane and veered into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado C1500 operated by 70-year-old Darrell Eugene Duncan, The Silverado attempted to veer away but both vehicles collided, causing serious injuries to Duncan and a 5-year-old passenger. 63-year-old Candice Roberts Duncan and an 8-year-old passenger both suffered possible injuries. The Leigh Acres man was not injured.
