Police have inforamtion on a crash that killed a driver at US 82 in Gainesville, TX on September 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 was southbound on FM 371 before attempting to turn eastbound onto US 82. Reports claim the vehicle failed to yield before proceeding into the intersection, colliding with a motorcycle. The impact left the driver of the motorcycle, identified as 59-year-old David Alexander, fatally injured. 57-year-old passenger, Tina Alexander, was hospitalized with serious injuries, reports say.
