What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 62 in El Paso, TX on September 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 48-year-old New Mexico man was headed westbound on Montana while a Dodge Ram operated by 31-year-old David Bustamante Jr. was headed eastbound. Police say the Ford veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the Dodge, causing serious injuries to Bustamante. The other driver suffered minor injuries and officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Intoxication Assault.
