Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1910 in Cherokee County, TX on August 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:58 p.m. A Chevrolet towing a trailer operated by 71-year-old Rickie Sorrell reportedly exited a private drive onto FM 1910 and was blocking both lanes of travel. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by 50-year-old David May reportedly was unable to stop in time and collided with the trailer. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. Additional information was not immediately available.
