Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 289 in Frisco, TX on September 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:53 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 37-year-old Carencro, LA man was headed southbound on Preston Rd before attempting a u-turn to go northbound on Preston. Officials say it did so when unsafe, causing an Acura operated by 35-year-old Deepsikha Mohapatra to strike the truck and cause serious injuries. The  Carencro man was uninjured and police recommended and/or issued a Changed Lanes When Unsafe charge.
