Police say the incident happened around 12:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Soul operated by 73-year-old Dennis McVeigh is believed to have been headed eastbound when the vehicle performed a lane change. In the process, the vehicle ended up colliding with a Ford F-250 operated by a 75-year-old La Porte man.
