What Happened

Kerrville Police are investigating a crash that killed an individual and injured two others at I-10 near Kerrville, TX on February 3rd, 2022. They say they received a call regarding the crash around 9:29 p.m. According to initial reports, a tractor-trailer headed westbound is said to have attempted to slow down on the icy roads as traffic ahead was stopped. The truck is believed to have then overturned and slid into a stopped Ford F-350 in traffic. Two people in the Ford were hospitalized in critical condition. One of the two, identified as 60-year-old Dennis Nelson Keller,  died the following day. Additional details were not available.
