What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality at I-30 near Loop 12 in Dallas, TX on February 6th, 2022. They say the incident happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. and involved a pair of vehicles crashing on the westbound lanes of I-30 for unknown reasons. Investigators allege that one of the vehicles may have been traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way road at the time of the collision. Both drivers required emergency extrication from the vehicles and one, identified as Desmond Person, was pronounced dead at the scene.
