Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a teen at US 175 in Anderson County, TX on November 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:11 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion headed eastbound on US Hwy 175 is said to have attempted a left turn onto County Rd 3051 while allegedly failing to yield. As a result, it collided with a westbound Subaru Tribeca. A passenger in the Ford, identified as 18-year-old Devany Betancourt, died in the collision. A passenger of the Subaru, 20-year-old Anna Lorena, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not available.
