What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have identified the person killed in a crash at FM 1485 in New Caney, TX on April 17th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 2 am. According to invesitogatrs, a Buick headed northbound is alleged to have crossed a center line at the Dry Creek Rd intersection, colliding head-on with a Ford Focus. The driver of the Buick, identified as 39-year-old Karen Lord, was fatally injured. The driver of the Ford, identified as 28-year-old Devonne Adams Jr, was hospitalized in critical condition. Authorities did not have additional details available.
