Texas Department of public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US Hwy 82 in Gainesville, TX on April 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:48 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 46-year-old male was headed westbound on East US Hwy 82 when it reportedly ran a red light and collided with a Honda Accord. The occupants of the Honda, 66-year-old Dierdre Lanor Canuet and 32-year-old Jules Vincent Canuet, suffered serious injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
