What Happened

Killeen Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Robinett Rd and Gus Dr in Killeen, TX on April 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:58 p.m. Investigators say a southbound vehicle veered from the road under unclear circumstances before crashing into a nearby home. One individual occupying the vehicle, identified as Donald Daniel Eagen,  was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at this scene. Five others involved were hospitalized in stable condition. Officers allege suspicion that speed and weather conditions played a factor in the crash.
