What Happened

Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left one person with fatal injuries. Police state that the crash happened at Bellfort St in Fort Bend County, TX on March 26th, 2023. Investigators believe the crash happened around 4:42 p.m. It has been stated that a Ford Ranger was traveling northbound on Aliana Trace Dr, coming to a stop at the intersection stop with Bellfort St. Police allege the Ford failed to yield while proceeding through the intersection before colliding with an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu that they allege had right-of-way. The collision left a 53-year-old passenger in the Ford, identified as Dorothy Gasiorek, with injuries she later died from. The driver of the Malibu, identified as 23-year-old Sarahree Banks, had injuries believed to be serious in nature. The driver of the Ford was alleged by officers to display signs of intoxication. Charges for Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault were recommended and/or issued.
