Police say the incident happened around 7:14 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 44-year-old Garland, TX man is accused of failing to yield right of way while exiting a private drive. As it was doing so, it blocked travel lanes, causing a Ford F-150 operated by 57-year-old Douglas Eugene Tyra to collide with the side of the truck. Tyra suffered minor injuries in the collision.
