What Happened

Bryan Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Southwest Pkwy and Texas Ave in Bryan, TX on September 16th, 2021. Police say a vehicle operated by 23-year-old Nicholas Aguirre-Mendez was headed westbound on Southwest Parkway when it ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection. The other vehicle overturned and the driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. Aguirre-Mendez was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
