Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver and passenger at I-10 in Colorado County, TX on August 27th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 6:23 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 24-year-old Memphis, TN man was headed eastbound on I-10 as traffic ahead came to a stop due to an accident ahead. Officials say the truck slid into Toyota sedan as it was coming to a stop, pushing the sedan from the road into a ditch into a right shoulder. The operator of the Toyota, 47-year-old Duane Limbaugh, was seriously injured. A passenger is said to have suffered minor injuries while the occupants of the tractor-trailer were uninjured.
