Authorities in Washington County, TX, are investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on March 14, 2025, at approximately 10:13 p.m. on US Highway 290. A 2013 Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 37-year-old unlicensed male under the influence of alcohol, failed to maintain a single lane and struck a parked 2013 Kenworth truck tractor. The impact caused the Hyundai to also strike a 1998 Clement Industries semi-trailer. The Hyundai driver sustained suspected serious injuries.
