Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver US 259 in Rusk County, TX on February 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:32 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 35-year-old Eddie Lynn was headed southbound on US 259 when it veered from the road into a ditch. It then overturned and police believe Lynn, who is said to have left the scene of the accident, suffered serious injuries. Police suspect alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
