What Happened

Area authorities are investigating the death of a driver in a crash at I-10 in Houston TX on April 24th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. According to their investigation, a Chevrolet Impala was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to side-swiping a Chevrolet Camaro on the service road of I-10. The impact caused the Impala to overturn and the driver, 30-year-old Edgar Vaca, was ejected from the vehicle. Vaca suffered fatal injuries as a result. The driver of the Camaro, an unidentified 20-year-old woman, was questioned at the scene, believed not to have been intoxicated and released. Additional information was not immediately available.
