Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 90 in Liberty County, TX on November 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue operated by 31-year-old Krystal Mauricio was headed eastbound in a westbound lane of travel prior to colliding with a Ford Transit van. The collision caused Mauricio to be ejected from the vehicle, leaving her with fatal injuries. The other driver, 28-year-old Eli Mendoza, was seriously injured.
