Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-69 in Edinburg, TX on August 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. According to police a Chrysler Crossfire, Dodge Ram pickup truck and Peterbilt tractor-trailer were involved in a collision that occurred under unclear circumstances. Police say the may have begun when the pickup and semi-truck collided with the Chrysler. Two occupants of the Chrysler, 37-year-old Elizabeth Gonzalez Jimenez and 30-year-old Eden Alberis Romero Archaga, died at the scene. Additional details were not available.
