What Happened

Area authorities have details on a crash that injured a driver at Carrier Pkwy in Grand Prairie, TX on October 5th, 2021. Officials say it happened around 10:18 a.m. A Ford van operated by a 35-year-old Little Elm man was reportedly at the stop sign facing 108th St as a GMC Sierra operated by 59-year-old Emmanuel Peoples approached. Investigators say the van reportedly pulled out into the intersection and struck the Sierra. Responding officers say the Little Elm man mentioned that the Sierra had its left turn signal active and that People's allegedly stated that the left signal was not on. Peoples also reportedly suffered minor injuries in the collision while the Little Elm man was not injured.
