What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 87 in Moore County, TX on September 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. A truck tractor operated by 40-year-old Charles Fristone was headed southbound on US 87 when it changed lanes to pass another truck. In the process, the truck lost control and struck a guardrail before attempting to return to the road. It further lost control and ended up overturning and veering from the road. A passenger, 39-year-old Emmie Eisenhauer was hospitalized with injuries that she later died from. Fristone was hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators say neither were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
