What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Dunvale Rd in Houston, TX on June 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 44-year-old Ericka DeLeon was traveling eastbound on Westpark Drive at the time. Police say that as the vehicle was attempting to turn left onto Dunvale, it was struck by a possible stolen Toyota Tundra that was allegedly engaged in a pursuit by police. The collision left DeLeon with injuries believed to be serious in nature. The other driver involved, identified as 54-year-old Shane Jennings, was not injured, according to police. Authorities recommended and/or issued a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge against the driver.
