Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at 1st St in Corsicana, TX on September 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda HR-V headed southbound on Commerce is said to have failed to yield while pulling away from a stop sign. Reports say the vehicle proceeded into an intersection and collided with an eastbound Nissan Sentra. Police say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 61-year-old Erika Dowdle, was seriously injured. There were no other reported injuries, according to officials, and a Failure to Yield Row citation was allegedly issued against the operator of the Honda. Additional inforamtion was not available.
